Let’s face it, Australia is pretty much built for road trippers and adventure-loving travellers. There are countless options out there when it comes to discovering fun-filled and breathtaking routes through our diverse country in your RV. Think of this list as our top favourites and not a definitive itinerary. We highly recommend adding these road trips to your bucket list because each of them is definitely a ‘must do’. Check out the RV Boss team’s favourite scenic road trips in Australia:

One of the most iconic things about Australia is the Red Centre and the striking red dirt of the outback. This route will give you the opportunity to take in the raw beauty and rugged landscapes that Australia has to offer. With stops like Uluru, Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuta along the way, you’ll never be bored. Not to mention the glowing orange sunsets you’ll be treated to.

If you’re keen for an adventure full of stunning beaches and breath-taking coastal views, this is the road trip for you. Driving along the peninsula, you can stop at any number of South Australia’s stunning beaches. Perlubie Beach and Memory Cove are two of our favourites but if you’re the kind of person who loves a bit of sea and sand, we recommend stopping at as many beaches as you can because they simply won’t disappoint.
If you also happen to love coffee as much as we do, make sure to stop by the Rogue & Rascal café in Port Lincoln for a guaranteed-to-be-delicious latte. We’re certain you’ll find some deliciously fresh seafood along the way as well.

We highly recommend stopping along the way in Palm Cove, Port Douglas and the renowned Daintree Rainforest which is a World Heritage Site. At your final stop, Cape Tribulation, you’ll be able to witness first-hand the spot where the rainforest meets the reef which is the only place in the world where two World Heritage Sites are connected.
